The rooms at Vicolo Fiore Affittacamere II are cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. I especially loved the stylish tile/marble floors and the availability of an electric kettle and kitchenware in my double room. It made me feel right at home! Some of the rooms offer a stunning city view, which adds an extra touch of charm to your stay. It was a wonderful experience waking up to the sights of Matera right outside my window. The air-conditioned rooms are a lifesaver, especially during the hot summer months. Being able to escape the heat and relax in a cool and comfortable environment was definitely a big plus for me. It was great to have free WiFi available in the air-conditioned rooms. I was able to stay connected and share my travel experiences with friends and family back home without any hassle.
Personally, I found the microwave in the kitchenette to be unnecessary. It's just my preference, as I didn't have any use for it during my stay.

We had a wonderful romantic escape in a beautifully decorated, spacious room with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. the location was perfect, with easy access to the charming old town and the breathtaking castle nearby. We enjoyed the convenience of a well-equipped kitchenette, which provided us with complimentary tea and coffee. the friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable, providing helpful information and excellent service.
Although breakfast was included, we decided to skip it due to oversleeping and wanting to make the most of our time. Finding parking close to the hotel proved to be a bit challenging, with narrow streets and limited options.

The location of the accommodation was perfect, as it was very close to the city center. We were able to easily explore the tourist attractions and walk around the charming streets. Additionally, the room was well-designed and equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The service was excellent, with a smooth check-in process and automatic pin-code access to our room. We also appreciated the presence of a mini fridge in the room, which was convenient for storing our drinks and snacks.
Breakfast could have been better. While the partner cafe/bar down the road provided a croissant and coffee, there were limited options for those with dietary restrictions or preferences.
